Review: Olay Regenerist Luminous Cream

Review number two from my Vow Vox Box from Influenster.

There’s something about Olay that screams “MOM!” From the nostalgic scent of my childhood to the muted orange creamsicle color– this cream was far from impressive on first sight. It wasn’t as hydrating as many of my other creams. In fact, it felt more greasy than anything. But I stuck through it, applied it every night for a week.

I have to admit– if I were a gambling woman betting on the likelihood that this would make a difference in my skin, I’d be broke. I went in with an open mind and came out a believer.

After the first two nights of usage, I started noticing that my face was starting to look brighter. It reminded me wholeheartedly of the results I get from my Glam Glow Youth Mud treatment. To say my skin was left luminous would be an understatement.

This product is a mere $25, which is about three times less than the ever-so-popular and increasingly-raved upon Glam Glow. The fact that it’s an “apply and go” kind of thing makes it so much more appealing.

Haha, I honestly think Lancome and Olay screams out “MOM”. You know I don’t use as much face cream as I think I’m supposed to and I think my skin is telling me to moisturize, but I haven’t found a good one yet. Do you have any recommendations?

The only affordable moisturizer I’ve found is Pond’s. They make the best creams that you can find in any drugstore. I usually shy away from higher end creams because my face tends to break out easily and so I’d hate to spend money on something that could potentially go to waste.
