Georgetown Cupcake!

My husband and I took a trip to Washington, D.C. this weekend, and I may or may not have over-indulged in some sweets.



Yes, you caught me!



Ever since we moved up here (less than 30 minutes away from the city), I had "Visit Georgetown Cupcakes" on my bucket list. I am very, VERY pleased to say that I was finally able to cross that off.



The famous pink bejeweled Kitchen-Aid mixer! I want!!! (Mine is yellow, and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to pull off rhinestones with a yellow tone without making it look like dollops of mustard.)



The bakery. The employees were constantly photographed. Imagine working here & having the pressure of knowing you're going to be in over a gazillion pictures in a day.



One of the saddest moments in my life: I literally walked from the counter to the chairs in the corner and this was the end result. I'm pretty sure it was from the lady not placing them in the holes all the way and then tilting it sideways to put them in a bag. Oh well. It didn't take away from the flavor so I can't complain.
